Renovations Have Begun!
Our VISION for the Building
Our future vision for the entire 28,000 SF building is an overall complex with multiple offerings to serve the aging population in our community and surrounding areas.
In addition to Heart Song Adult Day Services, other future offerings will include Milestones Area Agency on Aging, Therapy & Support Services, as well as a Community Center for older independent individuals.
Other future concepts being considered include a small coffee café, a food pantry, as well as educational programs and estate planning and financial services.

Renovation Phases
There is a two-phased approach for Heart Song’s renovations. Beyond these first two phases, the other future areas will be addressed as needed, and a specific plan will be developed to accommodate those spaces.
Phase 1 allows Heart Song (1A) to open its doors and begin providing adult day services on a smaller scale, as well as accommodate a multi-purpose space as a community room (1B) at the front of the building. In addition to the interior renovations for Phase 1, a courtyard (1D) will be transformed into a beautiful outdoor space for participant use. This phase also includes an entire new roof, new windows and doors, exterior repairs and a resurfaced parking lot.
Phase 2 will achieve a fully renovated and much larger-scale space for Heart Song (2A), with a dedicated canopied entrance (2D) and new driveway (2E) as well. This expansion of the day center will accommodate a significant number of participants in a newly defined space with customized features and functionality. This phase also includes the build-out for Milestone’s offices and operations (2F).
Phase 2
- Major expansion of Heart Song Adult Day Center accommodating significantly more participants.
- Community Center for older adults designed and space renovated. Milestones Area Agency on Aging will move to renovated space. Additional space designed to meeting the needs of older adults.
