Renovation Journey

Our Vision for the Entire 28,000-Square-Foot Building

In the vibrant and welcoming, newly renovated space of the building you will find Heart Song Adult Day Services & our Community Center.

Heart Song offers a structured day program providing care and meaningful activities for older adults who need supervision and support, while offering a relief for caregivers.

The Community Center is designed for active, independent older adults, offering a place to gather, participate in social and wellness activities, attend programs, and stay connected.

As we continue to grow, we are exploring additional offerings to further support older adults and their families. Future plans include a small coffee café to encourage connection and conversation, a food pantry to assist those in need, and expanded educational programming. We are also considering therapy services, estate planning, and financial services to help families navigate important life decisions with confidence.

Renovation Phases

There is a two-phased approach for Heart Song’s renovations. Beyond these first two phases, the other future areas will be addressed as needed, and a specific plan will be developed to accommodate those spaces.

Phase 1 focused on transforming the building into a safe, functional, and welcoming space for older adults. Improvements included a new roof, new boilers, and the installation of ADA‑compliant restrooms and a shower to ensure full accessibility. The project also enhanced the building’s overall aesthetics, adding a fireplace and making significant interior and exterior improvements to create a warm, inviting environment. These upgrades strengthened the facility’s infrastructure while elevating the atmosphere for the community we serve.

Before & After Phase 1

What's in Store for Phase 2?

Phase 2 will achieve a fully renovated and much larger-scale space for Heart Song (2A), with a dedicated canopied entrance (2D) and new driveway (2E) as well.  This expansion of the day center will accommodate a significant number of participants in a newly defined space with customized features and functionality.
